The Sonic Screwdriver can also be used to deflect laser blasts, liquefy non-organic materials, shoot paralyzing stun bolts, and emit a high pitched screech that can disable attackers. If Doctor Whooves were in Fighting is Magic, he'd have lots of counter-moves and immobilizing specials. Imagine Sub-Zero and Akira Yuki condensed into a kickass time traveling pony.
